Indication: Used for reducing the risk of stroke and systemic embolism in adult patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation (NVAF), with one or more risk factors such as prior stroke, high blood pressure, or diabetes. It is also used for the prevention of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) that may lead to pulmonary embolism (PE) following hip or knee replacement surgery.
